Our Audiology Staff

Dr. Donna Szabo

dr michael scherl ear nose throat doctor new jersey njAs a Dispensing Audiologist who has been in the field for over 25 years, my main priority and concern is that of the hearing impaired patient. I work with Otolaryngologists and offer patients quality care. We provide all options to our patients that will best suit their needs without any pressure to purchase. It is our office priority that each and every one of our patients leaves the office with the best possible hearing that we can provide for them. It is not always possible to satisfy all patients. Most people don’t understand hearing loss. It is complicated and varies from patient to patient. Not every hearing loss can be fitted with the same hearing aids and achieve the same success.

“I have been working with the Lyric for about two years now and the reaction still amazes me when I first turn on the Lyric for a new patient. I have seen patients walk out of my office with complete satisfaction and gratitude after a Lyric fitting. Most patients who have been previous hearing aid users tell me they would never go back to conventional hearing aids. They feel that the sound quality, probably because of the deep placement of the device, is far superior to any other hearing aid that they have tried. Patients tell me that it is wonderful to have continuous hearing and they have never heard so clearly before.”

The Lyric is not for all patients. It can accommodate up to a moderate to severe hearing loss. Ear canal size and shape is also very important to a successful Lyric fitting. We invite you to come in for a consultation and sizing to see if you are a candidate.
